Community Movement (virtual events) to mark Fridays for the Future

Our Livable Futures community has started hosting virtual open movement gatherings each month on the first Friday as a way of marking #FridaysfortheFuture and practicing our commitment to each other and to transformative change. We will continue hosting these gatherings once a month in 2021 and would love to connect with you online this way and build resilience, community, and well being together.

MORE INFO:

What will we do?

In this 60 minute live-streaming version of our in-person gatherings, we begin with

…healing visualizations

…full bodied movement with music

…time to absorb and reflect

What do I need to participate?

It is easy!

Put on your comfy clothing that is good for movement and join us on Zoom!

Remember to prepare your space – a clear floor and some space to extend your arms and legs is great.

You may want to bring a journal or a yoga mat but they are not necessary.

It is nice to have some water nearby and please take care of yourselves!

Take care of you! If we are doing something that is not right for you or your body, adapt it to what is best for you.

Notice what you notice. Keep your body in motion. A

llow pleasure in effort and make self-care your top priority.

You are in charge of your experience and your body.
